Christina Semon, a parishioner of All Saints Orthodox Church in Olyphant, has been selected to work at the St. Dimitrie Program and Protection of the Theotokos Family Center in Romania.

On Bright Tuesday, April 29, 2008 The Clergy and faithful of the Diocese are invited to St. Tikhon's Monastery, South Canaan, PA for the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. His Beatitude, Metropolitan Herman, Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, will join His Grace, Bishop Tikhon for the Celebration. The Hierarchs will enter the church at 9:30am, followed by vesting and singing of the Paschal Hours. The Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:00am.

Winter Teen Retreat

The 2008 DCE Winter Teen Retreat was once again a great success. Held for the second year at Pocono Plateau Retreat Center, 24 teenagers from the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania gathered for a weekend of fellowship and reflection. There were two teens who traveled from as far away as Ohio and Maryland for the Retreat!

On Thursday, December 27, 2007, the faithful of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA, welcomed His Grace, Bishop TIKHON for the celebration of their patronal feast; the cathedral being dedicated to the Holy Protomartyr Stephen. Following the Divine Liturgy, a festal meal and fellowship was enjoyed by all in the church hall.
